ABOUT

"Out Da Mudd"

"Out da Mudd" will be the first annual football camp guided by current NFL community leaders Tracy Walker and DeeJay Dallas. Youth campers and student-athletes of grades 7th through 11th will share and be introduced to position-specific training as well as strategies and tactics they will carry to the highest levels of the game. 

The Football Camp will incorporate small-group drills, guided strategic training for Athletes still learning and refining their game. Camp also offers competitive opportunities to the Athlete who craves the ultimate training experience to transform their game. Turf Babies

Youth Group for Younger Athletes ages 12 and under will participate in Group Circuits to introduce football in a camp based setting. 

Camp Schedule

Turf Raiders

Graduating Classes 2022-2027 will participate in individuals, 1on1s, Half Skelly, 7v7 and OL / DL challenge to showcase talent.

Due to unforeseen Scheduling, in regards to The Glynn Academy Graduation, Football camp will be postponed until 5 pm.

4:00pm: 

-Camp registration begins at the main gate entering the stadium under home side bleachers closest to the field house.

-Campers will receive T shirt, and neck gaiter at the registration gate, then will be directed to the field.

-Parents will be directed to their seats to spectate camp. 

-No parents will be permitted to be on the field!

 

5pm:

-Young campers begin stretching along home sidelines. (Area speed training coaches will be leading this as well as some college athletes)

-Registration for OL/DL/RB/LB begins at the main gate entering the stadium under home side bleachers closest to the field house.

-Campers will receive T shirt, and neck gaiter at the registration gate, then will be directed to the seating area.

-Parents will be directed to their seats to spectate camp. 

-No parents will be permitted to be on the field!

 

5:10pm:

-Young campers begin circuit portion of camp

Circuit Consists of STATION IDEAS

1 Speed/agility Ladder 

2 Catching Drill

3 Passing Drills

4 Cone Drills

5 Catching Tennis balls (high point/ball skills drill)

6 Punting Station

7 Water/Rest station


 

5:45pm:

-Start to move OL/DL/RB/LB to home sideline to prepare for stretching

-Half coaches begin competition portion of young kids; half coaches begin stretching for OL/DL/RB/LB (Area speed training coaches will be leading this as well as some college athletes)

-Young Campers begin competition portion of camp

Competition consist of COMPETITION IDEAS

1 Ultimate football (someone explains the rules)

2 Tug of war (Rope or Tires)

3 Relay Races

4 Chase the rabbit (Javonte explain this drill)

 

6pm:

-OL/DL camp instruction period begins

-ALL SKILL POSITION COACHES make sure the completion portion of young kids is flowing smoothly.

-Registration for high school skill position camp main gate entering the stadium under home side bleachers closest to the field house.

-Campers will receive T shirt, and neck gaiter at the registration gate, then will be directed to the field.

-Parents will be directed to their seats to spectate camp. 

-No parents will be permitted to be on the field!

 

6:30pm:

TRACY AND DEEJAY address or about 10 minutes 

-Young kids camp conclude will be directed to home bleachers, OL/DL/RB/LB take a BIG water break in home bleachers, High school skill positions will be seated already in home bleachers (by position group)

 

6:40pm: 

-Young kids dismissed

-OL/DL/RB/LB continues with competition drills DO NOT ALLOW A LACKADAISICAL START

 **field will be condensed for these position groups at this time

 

6:45pm:

-College football players will lead high school skills from home stands to home sideline for stretching

 

7pm: 

-High school skills camp stretching begins

-OL/DL/RB/LB group working towards last rounds of competition 

 

7:15pm:

-OL/DL/RB/LB concludes RB/LB stick around for 7v7 period

-High school skill break off into position groups COACHES DIGRESSION from here on

 

7:50pm:

-REST/BIG WATER

-RB/LB returns to camp

 

8pm:

-Competition begins

1V1s

2V2s

7V7

*Offensive coaches will be worried about offense, and defense coaches will be worried about defense

*college athletes will be situating the lines/crowd control (keep campers out of field of play, also tell campers to pull their neck gaiters up when they are not in reps)

 

9pm:

ALL CAMP WAVES CONCLUDE

*Coaches and college athletes help Glynn County Stadium staff clean up and put away equipment.

ESPN Coastal will be in attendance at every event for live media coverage and reports on star athletes.

COMPETITION

 While the emphasis of our camp will be personalized, position-specific training, we do include opportunities for the campers to compete against one another in 1-on-1 drills and 7-on-7 games.
